'Animals at Work in Alphabetville'Introducing a colourful alphabet of little characters who live in Alphabetville.
The Animals at Work are by and large either furry, feathery, sleek or shiny. Though rather shy the Animals at Work are now ready to meet us, so let's go and find them. Albert Mole is the head teacher of the village school, Boris Bear the cook loves hot and spicy food, Clarrie the squirrel is a nurse and of Royal birth, and 'Dodge' Dougal the hedgehog is the village bobby. We meet these and all the other animals, down to Zorro the foxy trickster, in this beautifully illustrated hard back book. |
'Albert's Birthday Surprise'Albert Mole is the headteacher of the village school in Alphabetville, where each of the cheeky little animal inhabitants are named around the letters of the alphabet, and have important jobs to do around the village.
Albert is to say the least, very put out when all of his so called 'best friends' find trivial excuses for turning down his birthday party invitation. 'oh bother' he says grumpily, 'I might as well stay in bed all day for my birthday'. Well, does he or.....may be he gets an unexpected surprise or two....shall we find out!? |
